Neuville aka. Newey:
About
Newie turns 4 years old on 5 April 2005, and was bred by highly-regarded Germany sport pony breeder Karl Brocks. Newie's full (older) brother is also an approved stallion Germany, with a successful sport and breeding career well underway.
Newie's official breed is "Deutsches Reitpony" which is often translated as "German sport pony." He is branded Westphalien, and is also an approved Westphalien breeding stallion. The official name for the Westphalien registry in German is "Westfaelisches Pefderdestammbuch e.V." Newie is also approved as a pony stallion in the following German registries:
At his approval in 2003, he received a standing ovation for his freejumping exhibition - an exceptionally rare honor in the German stallion approval system. In addition to exceptional movement, he displays a level of scope, technique, and power in his freejumping that is nearly unmatched in any pony stallion anywhere in the world. Newie's personality is cheerful, happy, and social - he has quickly become best of friends with Capone; the two live in adjoining stalls and spend all day touching noses, "kissing," and grooming each other. Newie is an absolute gentleman in his manners, a true testament to the exceptional temperaments for which so many of the German performance breeds are known.
Started under saddle in Germany during his 3rd year, Newie will continue his under-saddle training this summer with an eye towards FEI pony jumper competition. With his effortless freejumping over 1.45 meter oxers, it's easy to see that pony jumpers will be a wonderful playground for him. Newie is being offered to North American mare owners as the most highly-credentialed, German-approved pony jumping stallion anywhere on the continent. He is being offered fresh cooled. Pedigree
